Alpha 2026 Course

Welcome to the autumn 2026 Alpha course at Christ Church.

Unpack the Christian faith together

How does it work? – The Christ Church course will run over 6 weeks. All Alphas generally have three key things in common: food, a short presentation using videos, and a discussion where you can share your thoughts. There’s no pressure.  (The full Alpha course is 11 weeks – we have adjusted the course.  Visit the Alpha web site HERE.)

When? – Wednesday evenings (7:30 – 9:00pm including light meal) (There will be no Alpha sessions over the October half term – 17 October – 1 November .)

Where? At the Vicarage – 136 Mid Street, South Nutfield, RH1 5RP

Meeting schedule

Session 1:      Life’s big Questions and Who is Jesus –   Wed 23^rd September
Session 2:      ‘Why did Jesus die?’ and ‘How can I have faith?’ –  Wed 30^th September
Session 3:      Prayer and The Bible  Wed 7^th October
Session 4:      Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit do?  Wed 4^th November
Session 5:      How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?  Wed 11^th  November

Course Videos

There will be six videos altogether.  At Christ Church we are combining two of the standard Alpha videos into each session in order to have a 6 week course rather than an 11 week course.  The videos can be rewatched using the links below at any time.  The videos will be made available on this site as the course proceeds.
(Note that the videos below are low resolution videos uploaded to YouTube so that they can be reviewed on line.)
